If you enjoy games, game development, game art, video game music or anything else game related and didn’t make it to this event, be sure not to miss the 2014 Denver Indie Game Expo. The plan for 2014 is to put together the largest Independent Game showcase event in the mountain states region. Denver video game development continues to grow, and the Colorado Indie Game Development Community really is taking off. Everyone working on games or interested in game development in Colorado was invited out to Clutch Gaming Arena for the 2013 event. It was great hanging out with everyone, meeting all the Colorado game developers, artists, musicians and others into indie games. It was fun trying various games and demos at this event. It went late into the night. So much going on, I didn’t get a chance to meet everyone or play everything.
New video games, hardware, and protoypes were demoed, including some still unannounced games and projects (no photos allowed for some stuff – sorry). On the big screen: Zen Pathz (The Zen Path Game), Depths of Marlayo, Dangerous, Roll Position 2, Luna’s Wandering Stars, the Oculus Rift – Virtual Reality Headset for 3D Gaming, League of Legends, Mario Party: Island Tour and others were played. There was also a raffle with games, shirts, video game comic books, gift cards and other great prizes. Working with the new Playstation4 (PS4), XboxOne, Oculus Rift, PC, Android and other platforms.  Already looking forward to the 2014 Denver Game Expo.
